Bring science and maths alive for your students with a visit to The Big Bang: UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair. They’ll discover how the science, engineering and technology all around us stems from what they learn in class.

Jam-packed with interactive exhibits, workshops, simulators and shows, The Big Bang allows students to step out of the classroom and discover the amazing contribution of science and engineering to the future and the important part they could play in it.

Students will be able to grapple with gadgets, try their hand at filming, weld with chocolate and much more... With plenty of apprentices, technicians and graduates on hand to quiz about careers, they’ll leave brimming with ideas about their future and better informed about choices for their options. Other activities, including speed networking and a career quest, will all help to put the event into a wider context and link what students learn during the day to potential future careers, making The Big Bang much more than a great day out.

The Big Bang is also a great opportunity for teachers to network with their peers and pick up tips to take back to class.
