Think Computer Science 2011 - open to Year 8 and 9 students

Think Computer Science, this year open to students in years 8 and 9, promises to be a highly informative, engaging and enjoyable day, where students can gain an insight into the work of computer science researchers. This invitation-only event is a unique opportunity for your students to view a selection of the latest technologies through presentations and interactive demonstrations and to take part in a competition to win £1,000 towards computing equipment for your school!

Think Computer Science will be valuable for those who are interested in science, technology, engineering or mathematics and particularly valuable to those with a special interest in computing.

The event is organised by Microsoft Research, who can initially offer up to 12 places (including teachers), but additional places may become available.

Date: 7th December 2011
Venue: The Imperial War Museum, Duxford
Time: 9.45am start (registration begins at 9.00am), 3.15pm close
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
